Ameren Transmission Company (“Ameren”) has received approval from the Illinois Commerce Commission (“ICC”) to go forward with its plans to construction a 150 foot wide easement across 330 miles through central Illinois, from the Mississippi, near Quincy, to Indiana, near Sugar Creek.

Ameren will soon be contacting landowners to attempt to negotiate a transmission line easement.
